A dip variation performed using cable resistance to target the triceps, chest, and front deltoids.

How to perform

  1. Set two cable handles at about shoulder height
  2. Stand between them and grip the handles firmly
  3. Step slightly forward and lean your torso forward a little
  4. Start with elbows bent and hands near your lower chest
  5. Press the handles down and back by straightening your elbows
  6. Keep your chest up, shoulders down, and core tight
  7. Pause when your arms are nearly straight, then return slowly
  8. Use light weight first and avoid locking or painful shoulder positions
